Current Newsletter June 2026

Dear INCHE Members,

Since starting in my role in November, I’ve had the opportunity to read the work of INCHE scholars and talk with leaders from across the INCHE network. I’ve noticed one theme more than any other, a theme arising from every part of the globe:  Christian higher education is about the formation of students.  Christian higher education has always aimed to be more than simply transmitting information and skills. But in today’s world, the formation of students in character, faith, and wisdom is more essential than ever.

INCHE’s June issue of the Current newsletter highlights the ways INCHE members are leaning into the formation of students and faculty in deliberate and thoughtful ways:

  • European leadership as well as the INCHE Board of Directors meet to chart clear priorities for the coming years.

  • INCHE publishes its final 50th Anniversary compilation of conference papers, exemplifying the challenges and importance of Christian formation around the world.

  • Conferences in Latin America and North America address the tension and potential in the relationship between technology, science, and student and societal well-being.

  • INCHE members partner with parents, governments, non-profits, prisons, and fellow scholars to best educate the whole student.

  • Books and other resources highlight the many facets of educating for leadership in the Kingdom of God.

We hope this newsletter reminds you that the work you are doing is important, and is being accomplished in a myriad of ways around the world to the glory of God.
