Call for Presentations and Papers: 2025 INCHE/HGU Asia-Oceania Conference

“Holistic Intelligence in Higher Education: A New Paradigm in the AI Era”

We welcome presentations from primary and secondary educators as well as mission-field experts.  

The following areas will be examined: 

  1. Christian Worldviews and Higher Education in the Digital Era 

  1. Human Identity and Formative Education in the Digital Age 

  1. Missiological Implications of Christian Education  

  1. Envisioning the Future of Christian Higher Education 

Possible presentation topics include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Ethical and Theological Perspectives on AI 

  • Integration of Faith and AI Research 

  • Challenges and Future Directions of Holistic Education  

  • Effective Use of AI in Christian Education 

  • Biblical Virtues of Justice, Love and Stewardship in Education 

  • Human Dignity and Faith Community in the Age of AI 

  • Christian Approaches to AI Governance and Regulations 

  • Christian Social Responsibility 

  • Reflection on Educational Ethos and Spiritual Formation 

  • Mission-oriented Education and Global Engagement 

 

We ask all interested speakers to submit one-page abstract, including a description of 300-500 words, by May 30, 2025. (Please indicate the relevant sub-topic in your submission.) All submissions of abstracts and papers must be in the English language. The presentation may be made in the English or Korean language, with live simultaneous interpretation available. 

Important Deadlines: 

May 30, 2025: Abstract Submission  

June 30, 2025: Notification of Acceptance 

September 30, 2025: Full Paper Submission or Full Slide Presentation Submission

General remarks

  1. We aim to provide opportunities to present to as many participants as possible.

  2. The content committee  reserves the right to select speakers from among the submitted proposals. If necessary, the content committee will provide feedback on draft proposals.

  3. The content committee will create a final program for the sessions, considering the submissions.

  4. Please bear in mind that the submission of a proposal does not in itself mean that you are registered for the conference. Presenters and speakers need to subscribe and pay for the conference themselves.
