INTERNATIONAL SUMMIT 2026 ON SDG KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION "Sustainable Development Goals for People, Planet and Prosperity"

The SDG Summit 2026, jointly organized by Nazareth College of Arts & Science and the International Network for Christian Higher Education, and powered by www.mapsdg.com, will take place on February 20–21, 2026. The two-day international conference is themed "Sustainable Development Goals for People, Planet, and Prosperity" and seeks to bring together educators, researchers, policymakers, and community leaders to explore how higher education institutions can advance the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through research, innovation, and community engagement.

This conference will follow a hybrid format, enabling international delegates to participate online, while Indian participants will attend in person.

OBJECTIVES OF THE SDG SUMMIT 2026

1. To deepen understanding of the SDGs and their application in higher education institutions.

2. To deliberate on People, Planet, and Prosperity as core drivers of sustainable development.

3. To encourage research and policy dialogues on SDG localisation at institutional, community, and regional levels.

4. To facilitate engagement with communities through immersion programs that highlight grassroots challenges.

5. To propose actionable solutions and strategies that HEIs can adopt for advancing SDG impact.

6. To promote global exchange and collaboration among international students and faculty for cross-cultural learning, comparative research, and joint action toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

3. A repository of policy recommendations and institutional strategies for SDG localisation.

5. Funding of actionable solution-based projects for advancing of localized solutions for SDG impact.

6. To release a Compendium of Best Practices in SDG Implementation

7. To publish conference proceedings with ISBN

8. A roadmap for Nazareth College and partnering institutions to advance SDG practices and measure their long-term impact.
